From Backyard Idea to National Mission
We were just a regular family searching for ways to help our kids grow in confidence, treat others with kindness, and take pride in earning their way. As summer arrived and school paused, we began brainstorming new ways to bring these lessons to life. On Independence Day, we found our spark.
What began as a simple Fourth of July family activity quickly turned into something more—a creative way to teach American values through play. That day, Claws was born, and with him, a mission to help families across the country rediscover the power of character, purpose, and patriotism.
Who is Claws?
Claws wasn’t always a national icon—he started out as just a regular bald eagle. —until a visit with Uncle Sam and his friend changed everything.
That day, Claws discovered what makes America and its people truly special. Inspired by their stories, he felt a deep calling to share the spirit of this country with others.
Moved by pride and purpose, Claws was chosen to become one of our nation's official bird Representatives. He set off on a journey across the country, meeting everyday Americans, learning their stories, and discovering what makes each of them uniquely American.

Mission Statement
At Claws’ Laws, our mission is rooted in one simple but powerful idea: “Love your neighbor.”
We believe:

Our goal is to help the next generation grow into responsible, compassionate citizens. Through storytelling and screen-free play, we teach that self-worth isn’t about being perfect—it’s about making honest choices, working hard, and caring for others.
What Makes Claws Unique
His hat
Wearing a tricorn hat like some of founding friends in colonial times sets him apart from other eagles you may find at the store.
His friendly face
While all eagles are fierce and strong, we wanted our eagle to have an inviting face for small children to adore and befriend.
His small frame
Claws would love to travel around the house with your children as they work on abiding by the laws they set for themselves. Always reminding them that he is watching trying to help them be the best versions of themselves.
